A More Rural Part of the City of Angels
Shadow Hills is ultimately at one of the extremes of Los Angeles’s geography. We find it within the community of Sunland and in the Northeast part of the Sun Valley. This area became part of the city of Los Angeles in 1926. In the intervening hundred years, it has remained largely Rural and is home to many horse features.
Also, the area is within the Verdugo mountains end is near the Hansen Dam Reservoir. Furthermore, the city is Tiny by Los Angeles standards with just about 4000 residents and is overwhelmingly white. It has a very high median income compared to the rest of the city.
The area is ultimately not as well known as other parts of the city but has much to offer to residents or anyone else. This includes many outdoor facilities. Being one of the more rural parts of the city of Los Angeles, it is also a significant center for people visiting.
