You’re scratching off that list of places to visit across Southern California. Your mind process is going, especially when you’re figuring out where to go in and around Los Angeles. One of them should be the Westridge Canyonback Park. If you’re looking for natural beauty within a stone’s throw of downtown, this is undoubtedly the place to go. Make sure to look it up and keep it on your list. You’ll be glad that you did.
It is one of the highest rated places to visit for tourists. Whether you’re going to spend some time on the water or get a great view of the city, it’s the place to go.
Located right off Mulholland Drive, it is indeed a place to visit whether you are just passing through or always lived in the greater LA area. There are many views of the city itself, as well as the snow-capped mountains surrounding the valley.
Take another look at the ocean and some natural beauties. In fact, the park also has one of the prettiest stretches of hiking and biking trails in all of Southern California. Well maintained and respected, it is certainly a place not to pass up.
There are over 1,500 acres of open space bordered by the upper Mandeville Canyon, Sullivan Canyon, Mission Canyon, and San Vincente Mountain Park. Even better, it is accessible from both Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
It’s friendly to people of all ages and especially popular for families. It is also one of the most popular parks in the greater Los Angeles area. I guess the central question is– what are you waiting for?
